This past Sunday, Whirling Cleat won the Skip Zimmerman Memorial Stakes in a final time of 17.411 seconds, setting a new track record for 350 yards. The 5-year-old quarter horse mare is trained by David Brown for owner Manny Silva of Rockton, IL. Whirling Cleat was ridden by Helen King.
